Love
The March Issues
Nothing better than a pile of new magazines to sit and devour. Then re-reading them for missed bits later on. Add chocolate to complete the experience.
Cork’s Restaurants
Had dinner in both of the below recently, and the food quality was amazing for the prices. Atmosphere lovely in both also. Trot along when you’ve a few extra pennies.
Mad Men
Just watching season one and I can see what all the hype is about. Watch it if you haven’t. Although you will want to start smoking, I would urge you not to (cancer, death, etc.)
This Necklace
I’ve ordered it from asos.com so it should be around my neck by this time next week. An early birthday present to myself, to remind me of my favourite pastime.
Hate
Twitter Boasters
People who parade around the Twitosphere with a sign saying “Look at me, being better than you”. Modesty and humility anyone?! No?
Not being able to give up white bread…
…despite the effect it has on my waistline. I am usually great for having willpower, but when it comes to old Mr Brennan and his yummy sliced pans, I have NONE.
Freak Weather Conditions
Not only does it make my worrying go into overdrive (Is the world ending?! Is it 2012 already?! Call Jake Gyllenhaal, somebody!!) but it wreaks HAVOC with the aul ‘do. Hair + wind + rain = ↓
Waiting
For replies, for buses, for calls, for texts, for an answer, for a reason, for an explanation, for results, for inspiration… For anything really. Waiting is a boring game, and frankly, I wish everything could be a little more immediate.
What’s grinding your gears lately? Or what’s making you have mini parades of joy in your head? Comment. Because despite what you may have heard, I can’t read minds.

well I *have* to love february as it’s my bday month, but I feel your pain. I have an irrational hatred of November.
We have also just recently jumped aboard the mad men train! So glad I did it gets better & better!!
I’m really in for some treats if it gets better, it’s already spellbinding!! :) xx
I have big love for all your loves in this post. And extra big love for your photo of Phil Spector. That looper.
hell yeah! :) much love for all the big loving of my loves, love. :)
LOVE that Asos chain. Want! And Brennan’s bread…the cause of my stomach fattyness.
Same here, Oh mister brennan how you torture us… :)
Thanks for your comment! x
Got myself that issue of Elle the other day there, tis a good ‘un. I also hate waiting – which I’m doing a lot of lately – but that makes time pass a little quicker :-)
xx
Ah yea waiting for buses in the wind is working wonders for my hair! x
I know, like. Professional blow-dry a la mother nature… Grrr
loving Elle this month….not the cover though. Must get Marie Claire actually. Uh stop…this weather is RUINING my hair life! I spend so long blowdrying the curls out of it and the SECOND I step out the door…POOF, I look like someone from the 80′s with a dodgy perm. not a good look for ANYONE!
I dont like the cover either, Keira looks spaced on drugs or something?
you’re not alone with the 80s perm hair – mine does that too!! :(
